At Nekozawa-ke (Nekozawa Family), we rescue cats who have nowhere else to go — cats who have struggled to survive on the streets, as well as those suffering from illness or injury.
Our goal is simple: to give each cat the care, safety, and love they need until the day they can begin a new life with a loving family of their own.
Every cat we rescue needs more than just food and shelter. They may require health examinations, vaccinations, spay or neuter surgery, infectious disease testing, medication, and other veterinary treatment.
Some cats need hospitalization or intensive medical care from the very day they are rescued. Others, because of chronic illness, age, or other circumstances, may remain in our care for many months — or even for the rest of their lives.
No matter what condition a cat is in, when we look at them and think,
“We want to save this life.”
we never want to have to give up simply because we cannot afford the cost of treatment.
That is one of the most important promises behind everything we do at Nekozawa-ke .
But continuing to protect so many cats requires ongoing financial support. Food, litter, hygiene supplies, veterinary examinations, medication, surgery, and emergency treatment all come with unavoidable costs.
We cannot continue this work alone.
If you believe in what we do, we would be deeply grateful if you would consider supporting the cats in whatever way feels comfortable for you.
Even a donation of ¥500 or ¥1,000 can help provide a meal, medicine, or essential care for a cat in need.
Your donations help cover:
Food for rescued cats
Veterinary examinations, treatment, surgery, and medication
Vaccinations and spay/neuter procedures
Cat litter, pet sheets, and other hygiene supplies
Expenses related to rescue, foster care, and adoption activities
Every contribution we receive will be used with care to protect the lives, health, and well-being of the cats entrusted to us.
Because we ask for your support, we also believe we have a responsibility to earn your trust.
We will do our best to share clearly and openly how your donations are being used and how your kindness is helping the cats in our care.
We may not be able to save every cat.
But we can save the one standing in front of us.
We can give that cat a full stomach.
We can provide treatment when they are sick or in pain.
We can give them a warm, safe place where they can finally sleep without fear.
And one day, we may be able to introduce them to the family and the forever home they have been waiting for.
These may seem like ordinary things.
But for a cat who has spent their life struggling to survive, they can mean everything.
Our hope is to give these simple, precious forms of happiness to as many cats as we possibly can.
Today, in addition to healthy rescued cats, Nekozawa-ke is caring for 11 cats living with serious or chronic medical conditions, including:
feline leukemia (FeLV), lymphoma, heart disease, liver disease, kidney disease, asthma, chronic rhinitis, and skin allergies.
These cats may require ongoing veterinary treatment, medication, special diets, regular examinations, and long-term care.
Some may eventually find loving homes.
Others may remain with us for the rest of their lives.
Either way, we want every one of them to know what it means to be safe, cared for, and loved.
When you support Nekozawa-ke , you are doing more than helping us pay for food or veterinary bills.
You are giving a cat another chance.
Another meal.
Another night in a safe place.
Another day without pain.
Another opportunity to find a family.
And sometimes, another chance simply to live.
We would be truly grateful if you would join us in protecting these cats and helping us build a better future for them.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness and support.
